Police say three drug dealers were using abandoned properties for their own personal storehouses of drugs and guns.

At the first of a series of bi-monthly public meetings on vacant properties, the city lays out a bold initiative to clean up abandoned homes.

The city is trying to hold owners responsible for their property.
