A woman accused of killing her son and leaving his body in a suitcase in rural southern Indiana appeared in court in Louisville for the first time Monday.

A 28-year-old Louisville man is now charged with murder in connection to a homicide near Petersburg Park earlier this week, according to Louisville Metro Police.
