Houck was being housed at the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Johnson County after being transferred from the Oldham County Detention Center in November.

The second murder trial of Brooks Houck and Joseph Lawson is now in its third week in Bowling Green 10 years after Crystal Rogers disappeared in Bardstown.

Closing arguments begin Monday. 

Brooks Houck, Rogers' former boyfriend, is set to go before a jury on June 24 in Bowling Green.

Friday, after a little over two hours of deliberation, a Warren County jury found Steve Lawson, 54.

Bardstown residents said the community is "heartbroken" for the presumed death of Crystal Rogers.
