The district said transfer requests are done on the district's website.

The NAACP said minority students are suffering because of a crisis in district leadership. 

The meeting comes about two weeks after the board tabled a vote on a new transportation plan following roughly three hours of discussion and public comment.

The main focus for the district right now is whether to provide transportation or not, and to which students.

The bill was introduced and has support from Kentucky's Republican lawmakers.
