Jacob Lee Bard was arrested Dec. 9 on the KSU campus, after he allegedly shot and killed a student and critically injured another near the M. Young Jr. Hall.  

The law firm representing the suspect in a deadly shooting at Kentucky State University released a statement Monday detailing why they believe the use of deadly force was justified.
