While the charges against Shayla Simpson were dropped and another employee pleaded guilty, Simpson claims she was denied unemployment benefits, forcing her to “cash in her retirement early in order to provide for her family,” according to the suit.

Former Detective John Green was sentenced earlier this month to one year  incarceration that will be probated for five years as long as he follows several conditions, including staying out of trouble and not owning a firearm.
