The crash happened around 11 p.m. at the intersection of Fern Valley Road and Roederer Drive.

Officer Alyssa Begel remains on administrative leave. 

The department identified that officer Friday as Alyssa Begel. According to her personnel files, she was disciplined just last year in a different crash.
