Lando Norris passed Kimi Antonelli and Lewis Hamilton in the space of a single lap before holding on to win the Dutch Grand Prix for back-to-back Formula 1 wins. Norris started on pole but was overtaken by Antonelli at a restart after the race was stopped for a heavy crash by home hero Max Verstappen, who was unhurt. McLaren’s Norris reeled in Antonelli before passing him around the outside of the first corner in a daring move on lap 54 of 72, then took the lead from Hamilton before the lap was over. Antonelli was second and George Russell third.

The Dutch Grand Prix is bidding goodbye to Formula 1 but its organizers say it could potentially return as an “alternative venue” amid continuing uncertainty over next year’s schedule. Already this year, the security situation in the Middle East following the outbreak of the Iran war has meant Bahrain’s race was moved to Malaysia and the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix was canceled. The organization running the Dutch Grand Prix says there is no current “concrete scenario” for it to step in but it would be a potential candidate if other races can't be held.

Lando Norris ended an eight-month wait for a Formula 1 victory with strong pace and a dose of good fortune to win the Hungarian Grand Prix. Norris lost the lead at the start to teammate Oscar Piastri but regained it after Piastri was struck by a slower car. Piastri stopped with a gearbox failure, paving the way for Max Verstappen to take second, with Kimi Antonelli third. Antonelli increases his standings lead with title rivals Lewis Hamilton fifth after a penalty for speeding in the pits and George Russell seventh after a near-stall at the start.
