The company that handles billing for the RiverLink toll network has agreed to a $2.5 million class action settlement in a lawsuit about invoicing practices.   

RiverLink's operators had asked for the lawsuit to be dismissed, arguing in part that a Noblesville, Ind., woman had received a refund after she was improperly billed. 

An Indiana woman claims she and possibly thousands of other drivers received initial bills that included penalties, rather than invoices with no late fees attached.
