Officials say they're treating children in the ER who could have been taken to their family physician. 

The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) estimates around 1.3 million children ages 12 to 19 suffer from hypertension and even more have elevated blood pressure or prehypertension.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, vaccine orders are down 14% in 2020-21 compared to 2019. The vaccine for measles is down 20%.
