A Columbus, Indiana, man was charged with murder in connection to the death of his landlord after investigators found the victim's body inside a trash container at a home.

Attorneys for a Charlestown, Indiana, man charged with murdering his wife in 2025 attempted Monday to have the charge dismissed in Clark County Circuit Court.

Carlos Alberto Bonilla-Canenguez is charged with two counts of murder and is currently awaiting extradition to Indiana.
