Quarterback Daniel Jones and Pro Bowl defensive tackle DeForest Buckner are expected to be on the practice field when the Indianapolis Colts open training camp Wednesday. Receiver Alec Pierce and top draft pick CJ Allen will start camp on the sideline. After players reported to the Grand Park Sports Complex, Colts general manager Chris Ballard confirmed that doctors had cleared Jones and Buckner to practice and that Pierce and top draft pick C.J. Allen would start camp on the physically unable to perform list. Jones and Buckner are coming off season-ending injuries that required surgery. Pierce had ankle surgery in March. Allen strained his calf during offseason workouts.
