Jefferson County Public Schools approved a tentative budget for the 2025-26 fiscal year, which cuts spending by nearly $100 million.

The position will be available this summer following Superintendent Dr. Marty Pollio's retirement.

A vote on restoring routes is not expected at Tuesday's meeting, as the recommended motion is to, "receive an update regarding the current state of Transportation within Jefferson County Public Schools."
