The plan was changed in the hours before Tuesday's board meeting after the district received pushback from the Jefferson County Teachers Association about cuts to groups it represents.

It's part of the Jefferson County Board of Education's effort to address what is projected to be a $188 million budget shortfall in the district's 2026-27 budget.
