Dr. Brian Yearwood toured Auburndale Elementary School to observe the district’s Summer Success League program.

The board met at 5 p.m. to discuss the two finalists for the superintendent position.

Ben Shuldiner and Dr. Harold Brian Yearwood stood before packed crowds Tuesday night during back-to-back public forums held at the JCPS Center for Professional Learning.

Inside the Center for Professional Learning the two finalists, Ben Shuldiner and Harold Brian Yearwood met with a screening committee as they vie to become the next leader of JCPS.

The position will be available this summer following Superintendent Dr. Marty Pollio's retirement.

Thursday, the district’s Superintendent Search Advisory Committee discussed key qualities they hope to see in the new leader.
