Churchill Downs announced Friday that Mystik Dan will join the post parade for Race 4 on Saturday.

The 4-year-old filly finished fourth out of five runners as the 1-2 favorite in the Grade 1 Spinster Stakes, beaten 8 1/2 lengths by longshot winner Gin Gin.

Seven older horses with more than $26 million in combined earnings are entered.

A year after slipping through on the rail to win Kentucky Derby 150 in a three-horse photo, Mystik Dan returned to the same racetrack, hugged the same rail — and reminded everyone he’s still got it.

It was the first win in the Foster for Hall of Fame trainer Todd Pletcher and jockey Luis Saez.

Kentucky Derby winner Mystik Dan will take a shot at the second leg of the Triple Crown next weekend, trainer Ken McPeek said on Saturday morning.
