Interstate 65 South will close overnight Tuesday, April 7, and Friday, April 10, as crews continue work on the second and final phase of a project to replace expansion joints on the Kennedy Bridge.

KYTC said the closure is part of the expansion joint replacement project for the Kennedy Bridge, which carries all southbound I-65 traffic across the Ohio River from Indiana into Kentucky. 

Officials with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plan to fully replace the expansion joints in the future.
