In Jefferson County, Louisville will host its first nonpartisan elections for mayor and Metro Council. 

Eligible voters can cast their ballots at the Jefferson County Clerk's Election Center from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. until Wednesday, May 13.

Jefferson County Clerk David Yates said Monday his office is taking "significant steps" to prevent issues with electronic pollbooks following issues during the last two election cycles.
