A state of emergency has been declared in Louisville after a tornado ripped through Jeffersontown and severe flooding is expected over the coming days.

People in Kentucky and southern Indiana will see a lot of wind and rain move through the area over the next few days. 

There are threats of large hail, high winds and tornadoes through Thursday morning.
