Federal authorities say Mark Espinosa was a former armored truck driver who took nearly $900,000 and left the truck at the Jefferson Mall in December 2018.Â
Authorities say Mark Espinosa took nearly $900,000 from an armored truck at the Jefferson Mall last December.
The man accused of stealing close to $1 million from an armored truck was in court earlier this week after being returned to Louisville from Connecticut.
The employee accused of stealing money from a GardaWorld armored truck in Louisville has been indicted by a federal grand jury.
Police also say a "significant amount of cash" was recovered from his apartment, but they declined to say how much.
A statement by the agency says Espinosa was arrested, "for his role in the Garda armored car theft."
Mark Espinosa is described as a 5-foot-10-inch white male weighing 225 pounds. He was last seen wearing a dark blue shirt with a dark pair of blue pants.
