Sir Rod Stewart has canceled his upcoming tour dates after undergoing a coronary stent procedure. Stewart canceled his Tuesday night Cleveland performance following a postponed Cincinnati concert Sunday. His publicist says doctors are pleased with Stewart's recovery, and he is doing well. He will take four weeks to recuperate before returning to the stage. Stewart was scheduled to tour through Sept. 3, including a Las Vegas residency and dates in Mexico. He expressed gratitude to his medical team and disappointment about missing shows. But he said he looks forward to performing again soon.
