Senate President Pro Tem Rodric Bray said in a statement "there are not enough votes" to move forward. 

Earlier this week, Gov. Mike Braun called for a special session to begin Nov. 3 to redraw congressional boundaries amid mounting pressure from the White House.

It’s unclear whether enough of the GOP majority Senate will back new maps.
