A proposed constitutional amendment moving through the Kentucky General Assembly would freeze property tax increases for homeowners 65 and older.

Senate Bill 67 passed in committee Wednesday.

The measure, introduced by Sen. Mike Nemes, R-Shepherdsville, would freeze property tax assessments for homeowners 65 and older on their primary residence.
