According to KSP, the coroner removed the remains and they were taken to the State Medical Examiner's Office in Frankfort to be identified.

David Sparks will be formally sentenced in Gerrard County on Dec. 17. 

Savannah Spurlock went missing in January after a night out at a Lexington bar.

The public is invited to help in the search on Saturday morning near Lancaster, Kentucky.
