Severe weather left damage in Bloomington, Indiana.

The name of the victim has not been released.

Kentucky firefighter Leslie Leatherman answered the call for help when a late-night tornado plowed through his Laurel County community.

Inundated rivers have posed the latest threat from persistent storms that have killed at least 23 people since last week as they doused the region with heavy rain and spawned destructive tornadoes.

The Kentucky National Guard has been mobilized in the state to help with rescues. 

That brings the total tornado count from Sunday night’s storms to four in our area.

Gov. Andy Beshear said there have been around 1,000 rescues due to flooding since storms hit Kentucky. 

Fresh fruit, vegetables, milk and snacks were gathered in a matter of days to help those in need in the city's Parkland neighborhood.

Many in west Louisville and Harrison County, Indiana, were left to pick up the pieces and damage left behind from tornadoes that blew through the area Thursday.
