Louisville's 2026 football season opener now has a date, time and national television window.

The ACC unveiled its full 2026 football schedule Monday night, giving Louisville fans their first look at what Year 4 under head coach Jeff Brohm will bring.

They came, they saw, they covered. And if that were all college football were about – a wagering proposition with helmets – then maybe Kentucky could be satisfied with the progress in Saturday’s 30-23 loss to No. 20 Ole Miss in Kroger Field.

At the moment, Kentucky’s passing attack is less jet engine and more baggage claim carousel.

Mark Stoops, entering his 13th year at Kentucky, looked like a man who understood the value of 1-0. He praised his team’s toughness. He tipped his cap to a Toledo squad that didn’t go quietly. He saw what his team did well.

You don’t often look at a halftime scoreboard and see a nationally ranked Kentucky team down by 23.
