Norton Healthcare said this is a step in the right direction, and Berlin will be closely monitored as he continues to recover.

Hardin Memorial Hospital is getting a $2 million renovation. The funds will be used to renovate the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) on the second floor. 

Hospital officials expect the renovations to be complete by the end of 2020.
