The University of Louisville Board of Trustees approved two new entities connected to the athletic department Thursday.

The United Football League is bringing professional football to Lynn Family Stadium in 2026, with the launch of the Louisville Kings.

It was the first of six opening practices for the Cardinals, including the Spring Game, scheduled for April 11 in L&N Stadium.
