Driving a school bus is a tough job, and a shortage affecting districts nationwide is hitting Bullitt County Public Schools, too.

House Bill 447, which passed with bi-partisan support, allows districts to to use district-owned or managed nine-passenger vans to transport students.

The district held a job fair on Tuesday for anyone who wants to apply or is curious, and there were a number of people who showed up to apply.
