Jefferson County Public Schools rolled out a new bus tracking app Thursday, but some parents said it caused confusion on the first day of school instead.

Dr. Marty Pollio reflected on his accomplishments and challenges over the past eight years leading Jefferson County Public Schools. 

“I understand their frustration, and I would just ask that they be patient with us because a lot of times we don't know that a driver is going to miss until the last minute,” BCPS Superintendent Bacon said Wednesday.
