Amanda Needy and Timothy Singer were both charged with murder in the stabbing death of Nicholas Morris outside the Ciao Ristorante in the 1200 block of Payne Street on Feb. 17, 2017.

Timothy Singer pleaded guilty to murder and tampering with evidence Monday morning and will spend 20 years behind bars.

According to court documents, a bitter custody dispute may have led to the murder. 

According to an arrest report, police arrested 28-year-old Amanda Needy on Wednesday.
