Louisville attorney Teddy Gordon filed a federal civil rights lawsuit against the school district in June on behalf of two JCPS families, claiming the bus plan for the upcoming school year violates their civil rights.

JCPS will send a transportation verification form to families on Wednesday.
The district's decision to alter start times for the second year in a row follows a decision to cut transportation.
Superintendent Dr. Marty Pollio said he hopes the board will approve a plan, expected to be brought forward at the next meeting on May 7.
