Attorney Patrick Renn, who is representing Rondo, filed a motion arguing a charge of unlawful possession of a firearm is “unconstitutional” and that the 2nd Amendment “protects Rondo’s right to bear arms.”

"It's bedrock in this country," said attorney Greg Belzley. "You don't pay for a crime you didn't commit."

After a local judge ruled the state's speeding law unconstitutional, at least 10 other people have made the same argument to get out of tickets.
