Interstate 65 South will close overnight Tuesday, April 7, and Friday, April 10, as crews continue work on the second and final phase of a project to replace expansion joints on the Kennedy Bridge.

The ramp is currently closed. There is no estimate when the ramp will reopen.

The interstate was closed for less than two hours for crash reconstruction and cleanup. 

A tree blocked the eastbound lanes Thursday.

One person was killed and another was injured in the crash Thursday afternoon.
