The Dream Hotel group’s modified plan calls for saving more than 58 feet of the buildings’ front sections, a move that meets city guidelines, a report finds.

The 6-0 vote by the West Main Street Architectural Review Committee on Wednesday was meant to give developers more time to address preservation concerns. 

A key part of building the Dream Hotel on W. Main Street in downtown Louisville involves razing a series of buildings that date to the 1800s and keeping only their facades.
