LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- There's a PGA Tour event in Louisville this week — but you might need a high school yearbook to keep up.
Five former golfers from Louisville's St. Xavier High School — Brendon Doyle, Drew Doyle, Cooper Musselman, Stephen Stallings Jr., and Daniel Iceman — are all in the field for this week's ISCO Championship at Hurstbourne Country Club.
Yes, five guys. From the same high school. In the same PGA event. In their hometown.
It's not a sports story. It's a script – if the Hallmark Channel made movies for scratch handicaps.
You've got the Doyle brothers — Brendon, the former Indiana Hoosier and long-time team leader after Justin Thomas graduated, and Drew, who qualified Monday with a scorching round of 64 at The Cardinal Club in Simpsonville.

Stallings was one year ahead of Brendon at St. X, played at Kentucky, and now finds himself walking the same fairways he first learned on — only this time, with gallery ropes and a leaderboard.
And then there's Cooper Musselman, who comes from a lineage of Louisville golf. His dad, grandfather, and great-uncle were all standout players. Musselman shot a 63 once as a high school senior.
They've all traveled different routes — mini tours, Monday qualifiers, bouncing between hope and hotel rooms. And now, they meet again, back home in Louisville, teeing it up for real money on real turf, under the PGA's official umbrella.
As Stallings put it Monday: "It's kind of sentimental … I'm just in shock."
It's more than a nice story. It's a full-circle moment. The big-name Louisville export, Justin Thomas, is off competing in the Scottish Open. But the Louisville golf party this week? It's at Hurstbourne. And it's decked in green and gold.
"It's hard to believe, honestly," said T.R. Hollis, Tournament Director of the ISCO Championship. "You've got five guys, all from Louisville, all from St. X, and all teeing it up in a PGA Tour event, right here at home. That's not just a great story for Kentucky golf, it's a great story for golf, period."
So if you're looking for someone to root for at the ISCO, don't just glance at the names — check the hometowns -- then check the tee times.
Or just wander out on the course. You'll know them — biggest smiles, easy swings, and a memory between every stroke.

• It's been only a week since we said goodbye to Rick Bozich, but he hasn't been idle. He's been a popular podcast guest. They knew he wasn't working – so he couldn't say no! Not that he would have. Bozich appeared most recently on a podcast hosted by one of his old friends and story subjects – David Holton, where he appeared along with Holton's son and Courier-Journal University of Louisville beat writer, Brooks Holton. It's worth a listen here.
The Last Drop
"We created this tournament to bring big-time golf to Louisville. To now have five homegrown guys, all from St. X, in the field? It's incredible. It speaks volumes about the depth of talent in our city and the power of believing in your roots."
