LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The University of Louisville on Saturday retired the No. 8 worn by Lamar Jackson, only the second number ever retired by the university's football program.
After this season, it will join the No. 16 worn by Johnny Unitas, never being worn again.
Jackson addressed the crowd, saying, "I can't thank Louisville enough. Without you, I wouldn't be where I am today. It's a great honor."
