Sweet cacao-derived goodies will be flowing from the shops of Jeffersonville, Indiana's downtown district on May 9.
Jeffersonville Main Street and the merchants of downtown Jeffersonville are hosting the 5th annual Chocolate Lovers Stroll on Friday, May 9 from 6pm-9pm in Jeffersonville's historic downtown district.
The event offers ticket-buyers the opportunity to taste many different chocolates from brownies and candies to cookies and cake.
Chocolate tasting stations will be located within the locally owned shops and restaurants and five live music acts will be playing along the historic district's sidewalks.
This event is only two days before Mother's Day and Jeffersonville Main Street is encouraging people to purchase tickets as a Mother's Day weekend treat.
Only 500 tickets will be sold.
On the day of the event, ticket-buyers must first visit the registration area in the Glossbrenner Garden, at the corner of Spring and Chestnut Street, where they will pick up their map to visit participating shops for a tasting of chocolates.
The event takes place within a four block area of downtown and is made possible through the support of the Jeffersonville Urban Enterprise Association, the City of Jeffersonville, Jeffersonville Main Street, and the businesses of downtown Jeffersonville.
Advance tickets are $8 ($3 for children 12 and under), $10 the day of the event ($5 for children 12 and under).
