LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) --  The Thunder Airshow provides high flying entertainment before the largest fireworks display in North America, Thunder Over Louisville.

To help celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Thunder, the Blue Angels return.

The U.S. Navy's flight demonstration squadron, the Blue Angels, starts off the show after the opening ceremonies at 3:00pm.

Aircrafts fill the skies in front of downtown Louisville until the fireworks begin.

Expect military acts including entries from the Kentucky Air National Guard and the Royal Canadian Air Force; and private acts including Lima Lima, which includes six T-34 aircraft, and Team AeroDynamix.
