The Louisville Disc Golf Club will host the 2012 Tim Selinske U.S. Masters Disc Golf Championship this Friday through Sunday. It will beĀ at the Charlie Vettiner Disc Golf Course in Louisville andĀ at the Seviren Lang Disc Golf Course in Georgetown, Indiana.

Keith Kaiser tried his hand at disc golf. It's played much like traditional golf, but instead of a ball and clubs, players use a flying disc or FrisbeeĀ®.

Tournament play will begin each morning at 8 a.m. and conclude at 5 p.m. The finals will take place on Sunday, September 2, from 4 - 6 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

The tournament is named after Tim 'Ske" Selinske, one of the pioneers and chief advocates of disc sports.
