The lab is currently running more than 2,000 tests per day and will process about 28,000 tests before the tournament is over.

Indiana University Health announced Thursday that it will be stopping all inpatient non-emergency surgeries as the state faces a growing surge of COVID-19 hospitalizations.

Officials did not say whether those workers quit or were fired, saying in a statement that they “chose not to receive the COVID-19 vaccine and have left the organization.”
