LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- No one was injured in a multi-home fire in Old Louisville on Sunday morning, according to Louisville Fire.
Firefighters responded to a two-story house fire in the 1300 block of South Floyd Street, near East Ormsby Avenue, around 4 a.m. The fire spread to a neighboring home.
According to Louisville Fire spokesperson Donovan Sims, extra equipment of two engines and one truck was needed to help fight the fire. It took around 40 firefighters around an hour to control it.
No one was found in three homes. A firefighter was treated on the scene for shortness of breath, but they weren't taken to the hospital.
Louisville Fire Department Arson is investigating the cause of the fire.
