LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Fire crews put out a large house fire near the Bullitt County and Spencer County line on Monday evening.
Firefighters from the Taylorsville-Spencer County Fire Protection District received a call around 5:00 p.m. on Monday evening of a large residential structure fire.
Crews were battling the fire inside the home when a firefighter fell through the first floor and into the basement. Once he was rescued, they were ordered out of the home.

It took water from nine tankers and assistance from multiple crews to put out the blaze.
One firefighter was treated on scene for injuries and another was transported to a nearby hospital for medical care. They have since been released.
No other injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
