LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville police are investigating after a man was found dead in the Ohio River Wednesday morning.
LMPD spokesman John Bradley said officers received a call from a barge operator around 7 a.m. reporting a body in the river near the Portland Canal.
Officers and Louisville Fire officials arrived shortly after and found a man deceased in the water.
LMPD's Homicide Unit is conducting a death investigation.
