LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Nearly half a million dollars will help victims and families healing from the Marshall County High School shooting.Â
Kentucky Gov. Matt Bevin announced the federal grants Friday.Â
About half of the money will be used to support victims during the accused shooter's trail.
That includes funds for things like traveling to testify.
The other half will pay for two mental health professionals and a coordinator to oversee the recovery plan at Marshall County High.
Two students were killed and 21 others were hurt when police say another student started shooting in January.
