LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Baby goats were the star of the show during the 9th annual Bock Fest in NuLu.
The beloved springtime German tradition takes over four blocks of Market Street in NuLu with lots of drinks, food and goat races.
The News Flash Dash race pits Louisville news anchors, reporters and meteorologists against each other with the winning goat getting $1,000 to donate to the winners' charity of choice.
WDRB's Reyna Katko's goat, Glinda, came in first place. She donated the winnings to The Arrow Fund. The Jeffersontown nonprofit supports abused and severely neglected animals get the medical treatments they need and find forever homes.
WDRB meteorologists Bryce Jones and Matthew Wine also raced some goats.
The event is hosted by the Nulu Business Association, and the goats are from Sunny Acres farms.
