LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Louisville police said homicide detectives are investigating the death of a man after he was found in Pleasure Ridge Park last week with "injuries sustained by blunt force trauma."Â
Louisville Metro Police spokesperson Dwight Mitchell said officers responded March 23 to Gerald Avenue, just west of Dixie Highway and Greenwood Road, after someone called to report someone jumping fencing and entering the caller's backyard.
Officers arrived on scene to find a man injured. He was taken to Mary & Elizabeth Hospital, where he died March 28, police said.
LMPD said all parties involved have been accounted for as the department's homicide unit investigates the death.
