LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A person was hospitalized after being pulled out of the Ohio River Monday afternoon, officials said.
According to Louisville Metro Police, the Louisville Fire Department rescued the person out of the river with help from LMPD's River Unit.
MetroSafe said rescue happened around 4:10 p.m. near the 2nd Street Bridge.
The person was taken to UofL Hospital, police said. Their condition is not known at this time.
LMPD said it is currently working to determine what happened.
