LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Thousands were without power Sunday night after strong storms hit the Louisville area.

As of 8:15 p.m., 12,925 customers in Jefferson County were without power, according to the LG&E outage map.

Photos submitted by viewers showed numerous trees that fell onto homes across Louisville and a Kroger semi-truck that blew over in Shepherdsville.

According to the Shepherdsville Police Department, the Kroger semi-truck driver was taken to a local hospital as a precaution but was not injured.
