LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A man died after a rollover crash early Sunday morning on Interstate 64 West.

Louisville Metro Police Sgt. Matt Sanders said officers responded to an injury accident at 3:48 a.m. near the 6.8 mile marker.

According to LMPD, several drivers called 911 and reported seeing a Toyota Sequoia lose control and flip several times. It came to a stop in the center median.

Louisville Fire Department helped pull a man out of the car. The man was taken to UofL Hospital where he died shortly later.

The identity of the driver has not been released. No other vehicles were involved and no one else was injured.

LMPD's Traffic Unit is investigating.
